Exotic and Unique Travel Destinations
Travelling - an eye opening experience and a window to new ideas, perspectives and cultures. There are numerous types of destinations to please every voyager, but little is known about the exotic and unique ones that can be considered the hidden treasures of our planet.
Angkor Wat, Cambodia- A cultural and historical oasis
Angkor Wat, located in Cambodia's capital Siem Reap, is one of the most important archaeological sites in the South Eastern Asia region and the country's national symbol. Personally, it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to; encompassing religion, architecture and history all in one. The temple complex allows tourists to "visit" the country's past and opens their minds to the enriching Buddhist culture. I strongly recommend going the extra mile and waking up early to watch the extraordinary sunrise peeking from behind the iconic peaks, the best view is right in front of the main pond.

Ha Long Bay, Vietnam- A nature sanctuary
Hạ Long Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for its thousands of towering limestone islands covered with rainforests. It is a place to disconnect from a busy lifestyle and get in touch with nature. Kayaking on the emerald waters in the early morning mist is definitely one of the most remarkable things I have ever had the opportunity to do. Exploring the beautiful caves and spending the nights aboard on a boat is also part of a must-do itinerary. It is impossible to travel to southern Asia and not take some time to visit Ha Long Bay. A two day trip to this majestic location is more than enough time!

Fernando de Noronha- A Brazilian tropical paradise
Fernando de Noronha's mesmerizing views make it one of the most desired travel locations in the world. It truly is the trip of a lifetime, where you can enjoy swimming with the highest concentration of dolphins in the world, watching breathtaking sunsets, visiting beaches ranked the most beautiful in the globe, eating delicious seafood in the restaurant Bar do Meio and diving with perfect water visibility. Pousada Maravilha is my favorite place to stay, the room view faces the ocean and the location is the best, a five minute drive from to Praia do Leão, which is a must see.

Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya- A once in a lifetime experience for animal lovers
A unique safari journey through the African Savannah allows visitors to see the breathtaking and abundant wildlife from meters, if not centimeters, away. The Maasai Mara Reserve is home to the famous "Big 5": the African Elephant, Rhinoceros, Lion, Leopard and the Cape Buffalo. I guarantee that you will spot each of these magnificent animals several times whilst in Kenya. The zebra migration, which occurs between July and October, is the best time to visit as millions of zebras cover the landscape as if you were in the movie The Lion King! As to where to stay, there are several lodges spread around the reserve, my recommendation being Sala's Camp. Their impeccable food is sourced locally and brings all African flavors to life! Moreover, the Maasai people are welcoming and a visit to their tribes reminds us of how unique societies are, enriching your traveling experience even more. Travellers can take part in a jumping dance ritual, get an insight into their culture and their language and admire their unique colorful handmade crafts.
